The supporters of Roque Dalton booed when Conoguapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perutxo Lizana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Gaizkine Varioz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Roque Dalton's Cordaryal Barriola quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cordaryal Barriola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Perutxo Lizana's late challenge caught a Roque Dalton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perutxo Lizana helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Conoguapa's Perutxo Lizana got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Zavier Velasquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Perutxo Lizana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Zavier Velasquez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Conoguapa's Evaristo Tejeyra. Evaristo Tejeyra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fortun Pliego struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Asier Jene didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conoguapa. After 35 played minutes Conoguapa got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Carrion. In the 37th minute, Chayo Sariego made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Tejeyra. Conoguapa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Chayo Sariego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Evaristo Tejeyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Conoguapa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roque Dalton were winning 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chayo Sariego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Roque Dalton's Zavier Velasquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Tejeyra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd match minute, Conoguapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Carrion to maneuver through the defense. Chayo Sariego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Evaristo Tejeyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zavier Velasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chayo Sariego in the 62nd minute of play forced Conoguapa's goalkeeper Evaristo Tejeyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chayo Sariego received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evaristo Tejeyra came out and tried to block the shot, but Chayo Sariego slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 64th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Chayo Sariego lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Evaristo Tejeyra. Evaristo Tejeyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chayo Sariego in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Fortun Pliego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Tejeyra was a little too slow when Chayo Sariego got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-6. Chayo Sariego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Tejeyra having to interfere. Zavier Velasquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Evaristo Tejeyra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Chayo Sariego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roque Dalton's supporters rose to their feet, but Chayo Sariego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Tejeyra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conoguapa's Evaristo Tejeyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chayo Sariego in the 93rd minute of play. Chayo Sariego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Tejeyra having to interfere. Roque Dalton played a much better game than Conoguapa and deserved their victory. The Conoguapa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
