Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blasi Holgado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gilmar Rulan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rameriz Marentos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, LIONS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blasi Holgado came free, but Vela Zabarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blasi Holgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blasi Holgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vela Zabarte having to make a save. Vela Zabarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olo Fajardo in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Caracakingo Agriano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corubo FC and the LIONS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corubo FC's Caracakingo Agriano got a free kick in the 20th minute. Maraman Leniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Rameriz Marentos made a huge save. Blasi Holgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maraman Leniz to make the kick off. Maraman Leniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LIONS FC's Gilmar Rulan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Corubo FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Etxahun Caraduje hit a great ball. A collision led to LIONS FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dominguez Cespedes hit a great ball. Caracakingo Agriano, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Vela Zabarte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Blasi Holgado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vela Zabarte, 0-1. Olo Fajardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to LIONS FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dominguez Cespedes hit a great ball. Vela Zabarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blasi Holgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a little luck, LIONS FC's Vela Zabarte got control of the ball when Olo Fajardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blasi Holgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vela Zabarte having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Corubo FC's Vela Zabarte threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Blasi Holgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olo Fajardo got free with Vela Zabarte in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Maraman Leniz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the LIONS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maraman Leniz couldn't finish the play. Olo Fajardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Vela Zabarte made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Corubo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
