The supporters of Eresor Club booed when Ipare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Gian didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sol Vicuña in the 19th minute of play forced Eresor Club's goalkeeper Melido Trejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sol Vicuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nunez Pescaredo's late challenge caught a Ipare FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Pescaredo helped the player get up and apologised. Janpier Guipuzcoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janpier Guipuzcoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nayely Millano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janpier Guipuzcoa ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the game, Malcolm Påk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eresor Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipare FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes, Ipare FC's Eduardo Gian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melido Trejo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ipare FC reached it. In the 38th minute Norberto Rubiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melido Trejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ipare FC! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Eresor Club. Mons Vegsund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nayely Millano. 1-0. In the 47th minute, Norberto Rubiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A sloppy throw-in by Silvestre Baroja in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eresor Club's Joao Acebero. Eresor Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sol Vicuña 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. With a little luck, Eresor Club's Melido Trejo got control of the ball when Norberto Rubiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melido Trejo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Vicuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Innocenzio Cañete fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eresor Club's protests and gave Innocenzio Cañete a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Eresor Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Innocenzio Cañete to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Baroja hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ipare FC booed when Eresor Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position.
