The supporters of Ipare FC booed when Conoraima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mergildo Villarroel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estevao Zurica kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sol Vicuña in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salamon Villarias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Rubiano got free with Salamon Villarias in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mergildo Villarroel got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Conoraima FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mergildo Villarroel hit a great ball. Johans Cascos scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nayely Millano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ipare FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cordera Santiyan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ipare FC's Erroman Barga got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Norberto Rubiano came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ipare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Rubiano couldn't finish the play. If Norberto Rubiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
