When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Uxio Bon sped through Carate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Menendo Galisteo. In the 11thth minute of the game Erubiel Sevane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nantes FC's Zunbeltz Tarulla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes, Carate's Silvestre Machado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zunbeltz Tarulla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carate reached it. After a rather tough play, Nantes FC's Placido Aparicio got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Benedicto Calvon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carate's Menendo Galisteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Carate's Vitor Pinto got a free kick in the 19th minute. Menendo Galisteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uxio Bon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Carate getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vitor Pinto hit a great ball. Uxio Bon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menendo Galisteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uxio Bon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Calvon was the one to do the kick off. Nantes FC's Benedicto Calvon got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Nantes FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gines Canaria hit a great ball. Menendo Galisteo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. 80 minutes into the game, Gumaro Rebollo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nantes FC the free kick. A collision led to Carate getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gumaro Rebollo hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Nantes FC got a freekick which was hit by Gines Canaria. In the 97th minute of the match, Uxio Bon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Menendo Galisteo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benedicto Calvon struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Menendo Galisteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nantes FC.
