Estevez Huberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Laurgain Valgoma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Bastian Pañizares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Cecosesola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastian Pañizares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Neses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bernaldo Pombo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Upata FC's goalkeeper Estevez Huberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Upata FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Panpili Posse hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Upata FC's goalkeeper Estevez Huberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bastian Pañizares. If Igor Neses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brais Bolado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Upata FC's Estevez Huberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Valgoma in the 30th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Panpili Posse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Upata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Cecosesola the free kick. A collision led to Upata FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Panpili Posse hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cecosesola's Paul Onterino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Estevez Huberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurgain Valgoma, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Bastian Pañizares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Estevez Huberto made a huge save. After 47 minutes Upata FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paul Onterino who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Paul Onterino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Estevez Huberto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bastian Pañizares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Estevez Huberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brais Bolado was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Paul Onterino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Cecosesola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Upata FC the free kick. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Cecosesola! Estevez Huberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastian Pañizares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bastian Pañizares took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Estevez Huberto. Estevez Huberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Upata FC's Iliana Cintron got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th match minute, Deportivo Cecosesola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillelme Garijo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Brais Bolado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernaldo Pombo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Estevez Huberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Pañizares in the 78th minute of play. Estevez Huberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurgain Valgoma in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cecosesola's Paul Onterino got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Brais Bolado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernaldo Pombo, passed just outside the right post. After recieving a nice pass, Upata FC's Koldo Hevia tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Laurgain Valgoma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Estevez Huberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brais Bolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernaldo Pombo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Cecosesola had won after a very even match.
