Baldomiro Ansures made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurgain Valgoma in the 6th minute of play. Xiao Arreguia hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Palmera's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Laurgain Valgoma 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Bastian Pañizares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cecosesola's Leo Rodrigo got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 38 minutes, Laurgain Valgoma made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palmera's Baldomiro Ansures tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Savion Berganza got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Palmera. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Guceño to make the kick off. When Batista Carne came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Palmera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batista Carne couldn't finish the play. Laurgain Valgoma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Ansures read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Damaso Guceño struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bernaldo Pombo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmera. Deportivo Cecosesola's Bernaldo Pombo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Cecosesola from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastian Pañizares in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Ansures prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cecosesola's Bastian Pañizares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Ansures narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurgain Valgoma in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Ansures saved Palmera from getting behind. When Deportivo Cecosesola's Laurgain Valgoma in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bastian Pañizares ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul Onterino kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Virgilio Rubina charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Rubina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Palmera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Rubina to maneuver through the defense. Laurgain Valgoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Ansures having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Cecosesola had played much better football throughout.
