The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mederi Jetino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevez Huberto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Brais Bolado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Upata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brais Bolado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Toraño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Neses fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Toraño having to interfere. A collision led to Upata FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Astor Traslago hit a great ball. Celedonio Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevez Huberto having to interfere. Upata FC's Igor Neses got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Upata FC's Estevez Huberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Upata FC from getting a goal against them. Cerilo Pandal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Jorge Toraño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Neses in the 43rd minute of play. Paul Bocos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Mederi Jetino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, one of Upata FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Upata FC. Cerilo Pandal charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cerilo Pandal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Estevez Huberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Gonzales in the 75th minute of play. Jordy Hontoria kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jorge Toraño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brais Bolado in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Upata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mederi Jetino came free, but Estevez Huberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Neses sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brais Bolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Toraño having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Titiara FC's Rutenio Zorrilla got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
