Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kaxen Barros kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gregorio Cachero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monteverde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Cachero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mendebal Oromi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaxen Barros struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Ekialde Fuertes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabobo. In the 6th match minute, Monteverde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arano Altuve to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Desire Magdaleno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteverde FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carabobo the free kick. Desire Magdaleno hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Carabobo's Patxi Acevedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monteverde FC. After 9 minutes, Argina Azua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carabobo and the Monteverde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Argina Azua kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Monteverde FC's Gregorio Cachero got a free kick in the 10th minute. Mendebal Oromi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesus Guim in the 13th minute of play. Carabobo's Mendebal Oromi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Cachero in the 15th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Xesus Guim in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 29th minute, Xesus Guim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monteverde FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mendebal Oromi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Cachero in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Gregorio Cachero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mendebal Oromi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 39th minute, Gregorio Cachero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ekialde Fuertes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaxen Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xesus Guim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kaxen Barros came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Carabobo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaxen Barros couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Cachero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Xesus Guim came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Monteverde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesus Guim couldn't finish the play. Carabobo's Kaxen Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Aritza Magadan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Monteverde FC's Ekialde Fuertes. Ekialde Fuertes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ekialde Fuertes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aritza Magadan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Xesus Guim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaxen Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekialde Fuertes having to interfere. Mendebal Oromi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesus Guim in the 85th minute of the match. Carabobo's Mendebal Oromi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Guim in the 87th minute of play. Monteverde FC's Gregorio Cachero got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Gregorio Cachero off the ground. After a rather tough play, Monteverde FC's Gregorio Cachero got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Kaxen Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ekialde Fuertes. Monteverde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaxen Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Carabobo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
