Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marciano Gallaiztegui started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Checa Rebenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Cachero got free with Eate Cea in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Cachero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eate Cea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eate Cea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xesus Guim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Botijoncito's Montel Ulloa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ekialde Fuertes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Desire Magdaleno's late challenge caught a Botijoncito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desire Magdaleno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Desire Magdaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Gallaiztegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekialde Fuertes having to interfere. Papo Calvete kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ekialde Fuertes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eder Urtaza in the 16th minute of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Gregorio Cachero from a close distance when the talented Eate Cea managed to make a qualified save. Botijoncito's players were relieved. The long shot by Papo Calvete in the 31st minute really tested Eate Cea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Gregorio Cachero came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Monteverde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Cachero couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Papo Calvete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Cachero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Xesus Guim came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Monteverde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesus Guim couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Xesus Guim fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eate Cea, passed just outside the right post. After 44 minutes, Erdiano Reguera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Botijoncito and the Monteverde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Marciano Gallaiztegui fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botijoncito's protests and gave Marciano Gallaiztegui a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Gallaiztegui in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ekialde Fuertes saved Monteverde FC from getting behind. Xesus Guim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eate Cea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Montel Ulloa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ekialde Fuertes firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Checa Rebenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montel Ulloa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ekialde Fuertes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gregorio Cachero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xesus Guim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eate Cea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Xesus Guim made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Botijoncito's Eate Cea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Xan Fase kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Marciano Gallaiztegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Cachero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eate Cea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Cachero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesus Guim in the 93rd minute of play forced Botijoncito's goalkeeper Eate Cea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monteverde FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
