Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yaniusky Sarantes made the kick off which started today's match. Maxin Cachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ourente Bardon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Carapacho getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Maura Cerda hit a great ball. Yaniusky Sarantes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 18th minute, one of Siapa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Siapa. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Carapacho. Goyo Astete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ourente Bardon. 0-1. Yaniusky Sarantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Luna having to interfere. Hugo Balmaseda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaniusky Sarantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laureano Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaniusky Sarantes in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Balmaseda to strike the kick off in the second half. Siapa's Ourente Bardon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Balmaseda in the 51st minute of play. Laureano Luna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galo Lereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Maxin Cachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Carapacho fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Carapacho's Hugo Balmaseda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 69 minutes of play, Siapa's Yaniusky Sarantes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Luna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laureano Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Barreneche in the 74th minute of the match. Carapacho's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxin Cachon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ourente Bardon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yaniusky Sarantes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Luna having to make a save. Maxin Cachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Siapa's zone, Maxin Cachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ourente Bardon came out of the goal and Maxin Cachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
