Eusebio Ibaizabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shantala Arzumendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Manzanilla FC's goalkeeper Bartoleme Bello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tibalt Valdueza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrigai Urrechua in the 27th minute of play forced Manzanilla FC's goalkeeper Bartoleme Bello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shantala Arzumendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Ibaizabal having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Shantala Arzumendi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Ibaizabal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Petrigai Urrechua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Franco Sagarribay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petrigai Urrechua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Veronica Reymondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartoleme Bello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chispero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manzanilla FC were winning 0-1.

Bartoleme Bello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Ondino Curueño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chispero and the Manzanilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chispero's Ondino Curueño got a free kick in the 55th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Shantala Arzumendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manzanilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shantala Arzumendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes of play, Chispero's Petrigai Urrechua made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartoleme Bello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petrigai Urrechua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartoleme Bello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Franco Sagarribay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Ibaizabal having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veronica Reymondo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartoleme Bello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benino Uria's late challenge caught a Chispero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benino Uria helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petrigai Urrechua in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartoleme Bello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the game, Justino Barrosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manzanilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chispero the free kick. After 76 played minutes Manzanilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Barrosa. Manzanilla FC's Franco Sagarribay got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Benino Uria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eusebio Ibaizabal, 1-2. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manzanilla FC's goalkeeper Bartoleme Bello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Petrigai Urrechua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 minutes, Narciso Lizarazu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chispero and the Manzanilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Manzanilla FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
