Asier Suarbol made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Shantala Arzumendi sent off a good shot on target. Franco Sagarribay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartoleme Bello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavies Cao in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Juvenal Pamanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manzanilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maquigua the free kick. In the 30th minute, Juvenal Pamanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manzanilla FC's Bartoleme Bello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavies Cao in the 31st minute of play. Domeka Ucedo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Domeka Ucedo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. A collision led to Maquigua getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Niva Sueiro hit a great ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maquigua's goalkeeper Asier Suarbol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerardo Creus charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Creus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Gerardo Creus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Sagarribay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Asier Suarbol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Sagarribay, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Xavies Cao notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Manzanilla FC's Bartoleme Bello. Bartoleme Bello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xavies Cao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Franco Sagarribay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asier Suarbol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gerardo Creus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manzanilla FC's Bartoleme Bello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Manzanilla FC from getting a goal against them. Franco Sagarribay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asier Suarbol having to interfere. Manzanilla FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maquigua for a fine match.
