Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Monagal's Leonel Oliba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Leonel Oliba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Checa Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leonel Oliba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gabon Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Oliba in the 9th minute of play forced Serranero FC's goalkeeper Checa Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monagal's Gabon Millan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Checa Santana had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Checa Santana made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gabon Millan sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Sol Bayllo had to leave the field with a concussion. After 20 minutes, Nazario Noreña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serranero FC and the Monagal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Serranero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Noreña to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Monagal's Nicholas Pliego tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Telesforo Salvatierra kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Monagal's Nicholas Pliego couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Serranero FC. Monagal's Gabon Millan got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabon Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mantzio Recondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ismael Galdamez fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monagal's protests and gave Ismael Galdamez a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Galdamez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabon Millan in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Checa Santana saved Serranero FC from getting behind. After 67 minutes, Ulises Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monagal and the Serranero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Noboa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mantzio Recondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enaut Conllas having to interfere. A collision led to Serranero FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Xuban Angeles hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Monagal's Gabon Millan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Checa Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 79 minutes, Gabon Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monagal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabon Millan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Behe Mesia struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Enaut Conllas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serranero FC. Mantzio Recondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Behe Mesia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
