In the 4th minute, Behe Mesia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 7 minutes, Libertad Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Libertad Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mantzio Recondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Anacleto Aranguren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Checa Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Libertad Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Mantzio Recondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Anacleto Aranguren made a huge save. Mantzio Recondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vito Alcubierre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Limones's Soin Mortal got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Serranero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Libertad Zorita came free, but Checa Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Behe Mesia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Aranguren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Behe Mesia to make the kick off. Checa Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mannie Pedros in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Limones booed when Serranero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Checa Santana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Libertad Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. Serranero FC's Checa Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Libertad Zorita in the 83rd minute of play. Enaut Villalcazar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Checa Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limones. When Enaut Villalcazar fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limones's protests and gave Enaut Villalcazar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Limones's Enaut Villalcazar got a free kick in the 88th minute. Mantzio Recondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Limones's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
