Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pueblo Esteve got the match started through his kick off. Matanzas FC's Aritza Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pueblo Esteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Balanza having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Perdomo got a freekick which was hit by Gonzales Miguelez. Matanzas FC's Aritza Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Matanzas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pueblo Esteve came free, but Cornelio Balanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Balanza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pueblo Esteve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Balanza stood somewhat misplaced when Irrintzi Almodovar came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Bingen Villarias might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lope Ilisarri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bingen Villarias ran back to his position shaking his head. Cornelio Balanza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pueblo Esteve, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Perdomo's goal looked a bit too open when Aritza Melo came free, but Lope Ilisarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
If Irrintzi Almodovar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes of play, Perdomo's Irrintzi Almodovar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Balanza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62ndth minute of the game Pueblo Esteve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matanzas FC's Cornelio Balanza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lope Ilisarri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bingen Villarias, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cornelio Balanza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pueblo Esteve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bingen Villarias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lope Ilisarri having to make a save. When Irrintzi Almodovar came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Perdomo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irrintzi Almodovar couldn't finish the play. Irrintzi Almodovar struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Cornelio Balanza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perdomo. Lope Ilisarri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtzi Magadan in the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Matanzas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Perdomo.
