Emeterio Canseco came out of the goal and Koldobika Cardeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Alcolea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emesto Morquecho went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute Angelo Laje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Alcolea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guasimote FC's zone, Piearres Curro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emeterio Canseco came out of the goal and Piearres Curro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tablantico FC's Silvestre Olasagasti challenged an opponent after 26 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. Emesto Morquecho's late challenge caught a Tablantico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emesto Morquecho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guasimote FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Emesto Morquecho hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lop Castriciones during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Tablantico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lop Castriciones to maneuver through the defense. If Emesto Morquecho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Piearres Curro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emeterio Canseco, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 43 minutes, Seme Hortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guasimote FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seme Hortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Guasimote FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piearres Curro was the one to do the kick off. Koldobika Cardeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emeterio Canseco having to make a save. Piearres Curro struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Emeterio Canseco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tablantico FC. After a rather tough play, Tablantico FC's Vincent Corres got a free kick in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Guasimote FC's Angelo Laje sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Alcolea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orzaize Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tablantico FC's Alvaro Alcolea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emesto Morquecho in the 76th minute of play. Piearres Curro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emeterio Canseco having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Piearres Curro made a precise shot to the right of Emeterio Canseco. Guasimote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Koldobika Cardeiro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Angelo Lajes short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Alvaro Alcolea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
