In the 3rd minute Denis Dobale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zayveon Aranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Maria FC's zone, Palban Respaldiza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zayveon Aranda came out of the goal and Palban Respaldiza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rodolfo Rabago came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Maria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Rabago couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Rodolfo Rabago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Rodolfo Rabago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palban Respaldiza in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zayveon Aranda saved Maria FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Sotillo FC's zone, Joseph Bozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberino Altares came out of the goal and Joseph Bozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noe Graniela charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noe Graniela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Sotillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noe Graniela to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Rabago might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberino Altares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Rabago ran back to his position shaking his head. Joseph Bozo succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Dobale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Maria FC's Salvator Quindos got a free kick in the 56th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Arlo Cabezudo led 57 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Maria FC's Zayveon Aranda became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Bozo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberino Altares saved Sotillo FC from getting behind. Joseph Bozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Joseph Bozo made a precise shot to the right of Alberino Altares. Sotillo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Palban Respaldiza might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zayveon Aranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Palban Respaldiza ran back to his position shaking his head. Palban Respaldiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zayveon Aranda having to interfere. Zayveon Aranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Dobale, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Sotillo FC's Savion Zuya got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Salvator Quindos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberino Altares. Sotillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sotillo FC's Alberino Altares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Bozo in the 87th minute of play. Joseph Bozo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberino Altares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Rodolfo Rabago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alberino Altares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maria FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
