Telo Ruidiaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mane Argüeso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Cautero FC booed when Mesere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Vivaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galsino Capdevila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Legaspi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Posada's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Cristian Santoyo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Santoyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cautero FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cristian Santoyo hit a great ball. Telo Ruidiaz in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mane Argüeso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Galsino Capdevila came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mesere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galsino Capdevila couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Alfonso Posada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Mesere FC defense, Telo Ruidiaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mane Argüeso. The Mesere FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mane Argüeso should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Zernin Gudiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cautero FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Zernin Gudiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Cautero FC were awarded a corner. Xzaver Suso went to the cornerflag to take it. Xzaver Suso made a great header on Cautero FC's corner, it was just that Mesere FC's Mane Argüeso managed to reach the ball for a save. Mane Argüeso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curcio Cean, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Marcelino Legaspi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Galsino Capdevila's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Curcio Cean was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Zemario Falconi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mesere FC and the Cautero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cautero FC booed when Mesere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zemario Falconi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cautero FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfonso Posada 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. If Galsino Capdevila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Posada in the 67th minute of play forced Cautero FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Legaspi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Galsino Capdevila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Posada was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Mesere FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mane Argüeso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cautero FC. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
