The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 32 played minutes Rufino got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Bolantin. 33 minutes into the match, Rufino's goal looked a bit too open when Xuaco Camporredondo came free, but Ortzi Pedroza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Xuaco Camporredondo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 37thth minute of the game Xuaco Camporredondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rufino's Ortzi Pedroza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ortzi Pedroza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Arbieto in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Camporredondo in the 40th minute of play forced Rufino's goalkeeper Ortzi Pedroza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rufino! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Xuaco Camporredondo made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Bartoleme Montanez took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Meder Esteve to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the game, Rufino's Jacindo Piña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Meder Esteve made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jacindo Piña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meder Esteve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Rufino's goal looked a bit too open when Xuaco Camporredondo came free, but Ortzi Pedroza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Arbieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ortzi Pedroza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuaco Camporredondo in the 84th minute of the match. Jorge Vede hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Lucio Arbieto struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ortzi Pedroza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casadero FC. In the 87th minute, Xuaco Camporredondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rufino's Oscar Bolantin got a free kick in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
