Reyes Naveros charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reyes Naveros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, one of Chachopa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chachopa. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd minute, Veto Bulnes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Orkatz Centeno, passed just outside the right post. Kimetz Ramires took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Furtado Magaz. Furtado Magaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Palos Sendin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orkatz Centeno. Chachopa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 90 played minutes Chachopa got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Naveros. Latoncito FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
