Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tiguadore's Jokin Lena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match Reynaldo Lopidana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Valles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domenec Quelia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roque Valles having to make a save. Domenec Quelia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Valles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Edson Monta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Botada FC and the Tiguadore players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Botada FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edson Monta hit a great ball. The supporters of Tiguadore booed when Botada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenec Quelia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dionisio Talaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tiguadore's Raitin Ruano got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Botada FC's zone, Baldovino Remesal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Rosa came out of the goal and Baldovino Remesal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldovino Remesal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Rosa having to interfere. Tiguadore's Roque Valles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Talaya in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Tiguadore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubio Raposo to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Dionisio Talaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botada FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marcos Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jokin Lena, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jokin Lena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marcos Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jokin Lena in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jokin Lena in the 47th minute of play forced Botada FC's goalkeeper Marcos Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Jokin Lena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jokin Lena in the 54th minute of play. Marcos Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldovino Remesal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Edson Monta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Monta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Valles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Domenec Quelia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Tiguadore getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nel Arriaga hit a great ball. Dionisio Talaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Roque Valles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenec Quelia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Tiguadore's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Talaya came free, but Roque Valles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Botada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldovino Remesal came free, but Marcos Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jokin Lena, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The Botada FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Botada FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
