After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Justino Castejon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cococito's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Castejon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diagur Becerro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 9 minutes, Aloisio Reboiras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cococito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloisio Reboiras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Tibalt Corrales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Abastas was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Sagrario Sagaseta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sagrario Sagaseta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ramiro Esqueira hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Cococito's Teodoro Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sagrario Sagaseta in the 52nd minute of play. Justino Castejon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diagur Becerro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rabanito had won after a very even match.
