An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Placiencia in the 4th minute of play forced Carita FC's goalkeeper Maximo Cobides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Pieres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Placiencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Maximo Cobides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carita FC's goalkeeper Maximo Cobides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Romulo Pieres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Cobides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berdoi Noriega, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Lugo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carita FC's Maximo Cobides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Pieres in the 19th minute of play. Teodosio Placiencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cobides having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Carita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ponc Garrote to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Cobides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Pieres in the 22nd minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Blasco Casa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carita FC and the Aviagua players grew even worse after the yellow card. 33 minutes into the match, Teodosio Placiencia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Cobides. Carita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Placiencia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 36 played minutes Aviagua got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Baul. Maximo Cobides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Pieres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Placiencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cobides having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Romelio Diego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romelio Diego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes, Berdoi Noriega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aviagua and the Carita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berdoi Noriega hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aviagua booed when Carita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponc Garrote didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The wind increased when Teodosio Placiencia made the kick off in the second half. Romelio Diego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mane Saer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulberto Deleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Iruinea Guardia kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Romelio Diego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mane Saer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Carita FC got a freekick which was hit by Blasco Casa. Maximo Cobides made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Romulo Pieres sent off a good shot on target. The tension between the Carita FC and the Aviagua players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute of the match, Teodosio Placiencia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximo Cobides saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aviagua's Romulo Pieres got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 99th minute, Romulo Pieres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Cobides was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Carita FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aviagua were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
