In the 9th minute, Oswaldo Hontoria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Desiderio Achueta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coyobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Achueta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Austin Bulnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Coyobo's goal looked a bit too open when Cesario Vascones came free, but Zxavian Partarroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Barlovento FC's Austin Bulnes got control of the ball when Oswaldo Hontoria tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Barlovento FC defense, Oswaldo Hontoria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Austin Bulnes. The Barlovento FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Austin Bulnes should have stopped the shot. Coyobo's Zxavian Partarroyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jusepe Luna in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Oswaldo Hontoria sped through Barlovento FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Austin Bulnes. Jusepe Luna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cesario Vascones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barlovento FC's Cesario Vascones got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coyobo's Salvino Paba got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Cesario Vascones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Millano Arruta's late challenge caught a Barlovento FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Millano Arruta helped the player get up and apologised. Jusepe Luna took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zxavian Partarroyo. Zxavian Partarroyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Desiderio Achueta was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesario Vascones got free with Zxavian Partarroyo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 played minutes Barlovento FC got a freekick which was hit by Estevam Olano. Austin Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Achueta in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Barlovento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Achueta came free, but Austin Bulnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Desiderio Achueta made a precise shot to the right of Austin Bulnes. Barlovento FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Desiderio Achueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austin Bulnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Achueta, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Cesario Vascones notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Coyobo's Zxavian Partarroyo. Zxavian Partarroyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cordara Ugalde in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Austin Bulnes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Austin Bulnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Hontoria, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Hontoria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Austin Bulnes was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Nando Elguero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austin Bulnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Achueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
