Mendebal Saucedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmo Orbea having to interfere. The supporters of Guarajara FC booed when Manoa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ysmael Tarabejano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sendoa Arrate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Selmo Orbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Mendebal Saucedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selmo Orbea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Mendebal Saucedo made a precise shot to the right of Selmo Orbea. Manoa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Manoa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mendebal Saucedo came free, but Selmo Orbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Guarajara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olayo Sando to maneuver through the defense. When Mendebal Saucedo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Guarajara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mendebal Saucedo couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manoa FC's goalkeeper Selmo Orbea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manoa FC's Selmo Orbea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mendebal Saucedo in the 35th minute of play. When Sotil Ontoria fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guarajara FC's protests and gave Sotil Ontoria a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Guarajara FC got a freekick which was hit by Sotil Ontoria. If Fertus Carrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sendoa Arrate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmo Orbea having to interfere. After the first half Guarajara FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sendoa Arrate made the kick off in the second half. Lamberto Guardamiño's late challenge caught a Guarajara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lamberto Guardamiño helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Manoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Lamberto Guardamiño. In the 53rd minute, Galeno Mendaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Fertus Carrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geleberto Melgosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guarajara FC's Desire Cimbrelo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Selmo Orbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sendoa Arrate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Manoa FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Peter Prat hit a great ball. Manoa FC's Orzaize Carces was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Geleberto Melgosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarajara FC's goalkeeper Geleberto Melgosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guarajara FC's Sotil Ontoria got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Sotil Ontoria off the ground. Sotil Ontoria kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Guarajara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Villalva to maneuver through the defense. When Fertus Carrero came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Manoa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fertus Carrero couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
