Geofredo Arnero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Melendez having to interfere. Gerardo Acebes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Victoriano Melendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Melendez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Acebes went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bisoucuy's goalkeeper Victoriano Melendez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Geofredo Arnero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Canturria FC's Gerardo Acebes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Melendez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 25th minute, Geofredo Arnero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Hondaro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Gerardo Acebes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canturria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Canturria FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gerardo Acebes hit a great ball. Su Toraño's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Edelmiro Irazu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mariano Quintanilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bisoucuy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canturria FC were winning 0-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Acebes was the one to do the kick off. Geofredo Arnero scored 0-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Melendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geofredo Arnero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Melendez having to interfere. If Su Toraño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bisoucuy's Mariano Quintanilla got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Victoriano Melendez managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Canturria FC's Geofredo Arnero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bisoucuy's Victoriano Melendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Bisoucuy from getting a goal against them. After 70 minutes, Aristides Hondaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bisoucuy and the Canturria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Canturria FC booed when Bisoucuy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Hondaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Gerardo Acebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Melendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Melendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Acebes in the 73rd minute of the match. Geofredo Arnero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Victoriano Melendez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edelmiro Irazu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Toraño, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Bisoucuy's Victoriano Melendez got control of the ball when Geofredo Arnero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bisoucuy's Jakue Redondas got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Acebes in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Melendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Canturria FC's Gerardo Acebes got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Melendez made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Geofredo Arnero sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bisoucuy's Aristides Hondaro got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, Gerardo Acebes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victoriano Melendez. Gerardo Acebes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When the match was over Canturria FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bisoucuy throughout the match.
