Gerardo Acebes might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pelayo Arijola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Acebes ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Acebes made a kick off. Geofredo Arnero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Canturria FC's Gerardo Acebes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelayo Arijola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Gerardo Acebes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algorrobo FC's Pelayo Arijola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Canturria FC's Geofredo Arnero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelayo Arijola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Geofredo Arnero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Pelayo Arijola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pelayo Arijola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Acebes in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Gerardo Acebes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pelayo Arijola. Gerardo Acebes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Canturria FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
