A beautiful save bye Maracapana FC's goalie prevented a goal. Berart Uquillas charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Maracapana FC's Berart Uquillas got a free kick in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Maracapana FC's Nereo Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ourente Oñatibia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Salvador Valero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Salvador Valero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuriko Lino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Frans Cerda fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 29th minute, Gutierrre Baeza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zuriko Lino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Salvador Valero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frans Cerda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ourente Oñatibia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute, Gutierrre Baeza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maracapana FC's Zuriko Lino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Valero in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Frances to strike the kick off in the second half. Barea Coviella kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Frans Cerda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Valero in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zuriko Lino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nereo Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Salvador Valero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuriko Lino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gutierrre Baeza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachamaure's supporters rose to their feet, but Gutierrre Baeza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zuriko Lino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zuriko Lino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gutierrre Baeza in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Valero in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zuriko Lino saved Maracapana FC from getting behind. Frans Cerda kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Maracapana FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Oidor Cortina hit a great ball. Zuriko Lino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ereinotz Gregorio. Zuriko Lino came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cachamaure's Gutierrre Baeza. But to his dismay, Gutierrre Baeza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gutierrre Baeza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuriko Lino having to interfere. Nereo Frances struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ourente Oñatibia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracapana FC. When Frans Cerda came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Maracapana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Cerda couldn't finish the play.
