The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristos Ciencabrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Valero in the 3rd minute of play. With his leg Cristos Ciencabrero managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Cachamaure's Gutierrre Baeza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Zarando Santibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Cachamaure:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barebare:s goal. Zarando Santibañez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ourente Oñatibia having to make a save. With a little luck, Barebare's Cristos Ciencabrero got control of the ball when Gutierrre Baeza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Sabons short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Cristos Ciencabrero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Salvador Valero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristos Ciencabrero made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gutierrre Baeza sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Barebare's Estevez Riguera got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gutierrre Baeza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Cristos Ciencabrero made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Salvador Valero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachamaure's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Valero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristos Ciencabrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Valero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Valero was the one to do the kick off. Amado Sabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristos Ciencabrero having to interfere. Barebare's Cristos Ciencabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gutierrre Baeza in the 54th minute of play. Marcelito Miranes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cachamaure were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Barebare's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ereinotz Gregorio took the corner. Salvador Valero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristos Ciencabrero having to interfere. In the 66th minute Gutierrre Baeza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristos Ciencabrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barebare's Cristos Ciencabrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Valero in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Barebare's Zarando Santibañez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ourente Oñatibia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uriel Sabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ourente Oñatibia having to interfere. Cordara Cerrabe hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Zarando Santibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Valero succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 96thth minute of the game Gutierrre Baeza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barebare's Cristos Ciencabrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
