In the 7th minute, London's Bertol Charri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benat Varela. Benat Varela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, Cumbo FC's Benat Varela got control of the ball when Ximenes Leturia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavian Arrascarate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palban Alseda, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Palban Alseda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Eliu Zubizarrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximenes Leturia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eliu Zubizarrieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to London getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mendebal Forcadas hit a great ball. Palban Alseda might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavian Arrascarate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Palban Alseda ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palban Alseda in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavian Arrascarate saved London from getting behind. In the 31stth minute of the game Palban Alseda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London's Xavian Arrascarate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliu Zubizarrieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palban Alseda struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Xavian Arrascarate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumbo FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Benat Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertol Charri in the 58th minute of the match. Maximino Liquiñano charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Liquiñano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cumbo FC's Maximino Liquiñano got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ximenes Leturia managed to get in a good position for a shot. London's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximenes Leturia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benat Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cumbo FC booed when London was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertol Charri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palban Alseda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Oso Gandara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumbo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oso Gandara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertol Charri in the 72nd minute of play forced Cumbo FC's goalkeeper Benat Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txurio Casanande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benat Varela. Cumbo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cumbo FC's Eliu Zubizarrieta got a free kick in the 84th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cumbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertol Charri came free, but Benat Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenes Leturia in the 93rd minute of play forced Cumbo FC's goalkeeper Benat Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benat Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertol Charri's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Cumbo FC's Benat Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertol Charri in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The London fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cumbo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
