Wojciech Cielencki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Lomas de Urdaneta FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With an all-out effort, Lomas de Urdaneta FC's Chumo Romai threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wojciech Cielencki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the match, Moqueta FC's goalkeeper Chumo Romai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Przemyslaw Gniewek. Chumo Romai came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Lomas de Urdaneta FC's Przemyslaw Gniewek. But to his dismay, Przemyslaw Gniewek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Paio Gallego charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paio Gallego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paio Gallego kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Przemyslaw Gniewek got free with Chumo Romai in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Haroldo Pillado made a precise shot to the right of Chumo Romai. Moqueta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Chumo Romai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Pillado went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Przemyslaw Gniewek got free with Chumo Romai in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Cielencki in the 44th minute of play forced Moqueta FC's goalkeeper Chumo Romai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Cielencki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Chumo Romai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Garikoitz Megid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chumo Romai came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Lomas de Urdaneta FC's Wojciech Cielencki. But to his dismay, Wojciech Cielencki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Franco Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garikoitz Megid in the 55th minute of play. Chumo Romai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Elorza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Lomas de Urdaneta FC's Behe Clavijo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chumo Romai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Lomas de Urdaneta FC made a substitution. Reasco Barrero replaced Paulo Elorza. Inaki Loayza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chumo Romai having to interfere. Chumo Romai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reasco Barrero in the 67th minute of the match. Reasco Barrero's late challenge caught a Moqueta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reasco Barrero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Lomas de Urdaneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reasco Barrero to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Przemyslaw Gniewek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chumo Romai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chumo Romai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Gniewek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Lomas de Urdaneta FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Manolito España hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Moqueta FC's Micael Aristegui got a free kick in the 91st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lomas de Urdaneta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! When the referee ended the match the Lomas de Urdaneta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
