The tension between the Matapalito and the Taguaiguai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ysmael Cebadilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18thth minute of the game Otsoko Laurenciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jorge Solana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matapalito's Ysmael Cebadilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Jorge Solana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taguaiguai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Solana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Matapalito's goalkeeper Ysmael Cebadilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Candana. 36 minutes into the match, Matapalito's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Solana came free, but Ysmael Cebadilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
