Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Danilo Barriga got the match started through his kick off. Marques Portillo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caigua fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! 10 minutes into the match, Caigua's goalkeeper Sancho Basurto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Pereta. Ivan Pereta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Satordi Torroba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Rodrigo Bañuelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Satordi Torroba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancho Basurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Tolino Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervaso Polanco, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Escobal's Satordi Torroba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sancho Basurto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Timoteo Gegundez charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Gegundez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Escobal's Timoteo Gegundez got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Euloxu Alaejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Muriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Escobal got a freekick which was hit by Tolino Suarez. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tolino Suarez during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tolino Suarez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Muriel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Bañuelos's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Satordi Torroba to make the kick off. Sancho Basurto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Pereta in the 54th minute of play. Rodrigo Bañuelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sancho Basurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Satordi Torroba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Satordi Torroba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Pereta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancho Basurto having to interfere. If Satordi Torroba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Escobal's Sandalio Galguera got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Bañuelos got free with Ildefonso Muriel in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Rodrigo Bañuelos sped through Escobal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ildefonso Muriel. When Tolino Suarez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 87th match minute, Escobal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolino Suarez to maneuver through the defense. Satordi Torroba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Pereta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sancho Basurto having to interfere. Escobal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caigua for a fine match.
