In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chichiriviche Deportivo's goalkeeper Hondo Toledano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hartz Martioda's late challenge caught a Plimaya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hartz Martioda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Chichiriviche Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartz Martioda to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Pelagius Doles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plimaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chichiriviche Deportivo the free kick. Plimaya's Quintun Toral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermano Echeverria in the 33rd minute of play. Quintun Toral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermano Echeverria in the 36th minute of the match. If Ermano Echeverria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hondo Toledano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clawirton Alday, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Clawirton Alday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hondo Toledano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldomiro Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lamberto Llibre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urtats Arenillas during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aldomiro Bautista scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quintun Toral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Urtats Arenillas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hondo Toledano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamberto Llibre in the 82nd minute of play. Ermano Echeverria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintun Toral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play.
