Montay Leonor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Blancas in the 5th minute of the match. Stanislao Flayre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palben Fardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, Pandito FC's Pio Pardelas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 43rd minute, one of Pandito FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pandito FC. The goalkeeper, Montay Leonor, was totally fooled by Tuname's Ireno Arratia, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 48th minute, Xamin Tejerizo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pandito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Palben Fardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislao Flayre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eder Murgia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
