Roberto Cancela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maureo Izcaray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tartalo Fandoz in the 11th minute. Segio Burriaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chale Mattei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Chale Mattei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Cancela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cumaripa FC's Oriol Caniego got a free kick in the 15th minute. Chale Mattei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segio Burriaga's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Roberto Cancela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chale Mattei having to interfere. Tartalo Fandoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Maureo Izcaray made a huge save. After some careless play in the FC Bilbao defense, Iztal Tipular kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maureo Izcaray. The FC Bilbao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maureo Izcaray should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cumaripa FC's goalkeeper Chale Mattei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segio Burriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enetz Barrenechea during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segio Burriaga was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, FC Bilbao's Segio Burriaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chale Mattei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cumaripa FC booed when FC Bilbao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabon Trevijano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tartalo Fandoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maureo Izcaray having to interfere. Roberto Cancela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chale Mattei having to make a save. Chale Mattei was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roberto Cancela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. If Roberto Cancela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Bilbao's Segio Burriaga got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Isauro Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bilbao's supporters rose to their feet, but Isauro Lope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chale Mattei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Roberto Cancela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segio Burriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Segio Burriaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cumaripa FC's Chale Mattei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luken Ramon in the 98th minute of play forced FC Bilbao's goalkeeper Maureo Izcaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bilbao's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
