Sandalio Yzaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Saro having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, God s Blessings's goal looked a bit too open when Sandalio Yzaguirre came free, but Matei Saro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Padro Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartoli Salvia in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Chivacure's goalkeeper Padro Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mendebal Telego. The supporters of Chivacure booed when God s Blessings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Lampez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Lampez charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Lampez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 minutes, Fliz Tavira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chivacure and the God s Blessings players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Fliz Tavira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Chivacure's zone, Mendebal Telego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Padro Carneiro came out of the goal and Mendebal Telego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Padro Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mendebal Telego in the 44th minute. If Mendebal Telego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eron Bargues to make the kick off. A collision led to God s Blessings getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mendebal Telego hit a great ball. Ximenez Entrambasaguas's late challenge caught a God s Blessings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ximenez Entrambasaguas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chivacure getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ximenez Entrambasaguas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mendebal Telego in the 78th minute of play forced Chivacure's goalkeeper Padro Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, God s Blessings's goalkeeper Matei Saro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maiorga Abendaño. The audience was convinced that Mendebal Telego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Padro Carneiro was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 91stth minute of the game Eron Bargues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivacure's Padro Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Padro Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eron Bargues in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Eron Bargues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Padro Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chivacure eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
