Maiorga Abendaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Sandalio Yzaguirre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nereo Herezuelo, 1-0. Argina Ucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Padro Carneiro having to interfere. Saturnino Requenes charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Requenes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Mapire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Requenes to maneuver through the defense. Padro Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argina Ucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sandalio Yzaguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvidor Fleytas during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mapire FC's Salvidor Fleytas got a free kick in the 30th minute. Chivacure's Padro Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Zaitegui in the 33rd minute of play. Christiano Zaitegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Padro Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Padro Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Zaitegui in the 50th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandalio Yzaguirre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mapire FC's zone, Maiorga Abendaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Herezuelo came out of the goal and Maiorga Abendaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Herezuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandalio Yzaguirre in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Mapire FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ihintza Leguade hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Sandalio Yzaguirre notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mapire FC's Nereo Herezuelo. Nereo Herezuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute Maiorga Abendaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Herezuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandalio Yzaguirre in the 68th minute of play forced Mapire FC's goalkeeper Nereo Herezuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Padro Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Zaitegui in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chivacure's zone, Christiano Zaitegui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Padro Carneiro came out of the goal and Christiano Zaitegui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Padro Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Zaitegui in the 92nd minute of play. Mapire FC's Lia Larabiedra got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Argina Ucero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Padro Carneiro made a huge save. Mapire FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
