After 4 played minutes Almirante Brion got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Maidana. 5 minutes into the match, Almirante Brion's goal looked a bit too open when Svanbjörn von den Berg came free, but Gao Wei Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Galicia booed when Almirante Brion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kryspin Kalinowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gao Wei Jing having to interfere. After some careless play in the Almirante Brion defense, Svanbjörn von den Berg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gao Wei Jing. The Almirante Brion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gao Wei Jing should have stopped the shot. Svanbjörn von den Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Almirante Brion's Gao Wei Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Cordearo in the 26th minute of play. Shi Cheng Yong took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gao Wei Jing. Gao Wei Jing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Svanbjörn von den Berg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gao Wei Jing having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Almirante Brion's goal looked a bit too open when Svanbjörn von den Berg came free, but Gao Wei Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svanbjörn von den Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gao Wei Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svanbjörn von den Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Almirante Brion's goal looked a bit too open when Svanbjörn von den Berg came free, but Gao Wei Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gao Wei Jing came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Galicia's Svanbjörn von den Berg. But to his dismay, Svanbjörn von den Berg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bruno Romo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gao Wei Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The Almirante Brion players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Galicia were winning 0-3.

In the 58th minute, Svanbjörn von den Berg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Galicia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Svanbjörn von den Berg took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Gao Wei Jing to make any attempt to save it. Deportivo Galicia made a substitution. Leonel Mesquita replaced Svanbjörn von den Berg. Deportivo Galicia's Sven-Åke Granberg was substituted for Shi Cheng Yong. Almirante Brion's Gao Wei Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Almirante Brion from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Mesquita got free with Gao Wei Jing in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Sven-Åke Granberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gao Wei Jing was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Almirante Brion's Javiar Ufret got a free kick in the 77th minute. Sven-Åke Granberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Gao Wei Jing made a huge save. Almirante Brion were furious when Bordat Raña was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute, Bordat Raña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Sven-Åke Granberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Gao Wei Jing however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Sven-Åke Granberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gao Wei Jing was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Fedele Melani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gao Wei Jing. Almirante Brion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Melani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Almirante Brion's Gao Wei Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Almirante Brion from getting a goal against them. After 92 played minutes Almirante Brion got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Maidana. Gao Wei Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Granberg in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Leonel Mesquita fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gao Wei Jing, passed just outside the right post. The Almirante Brion fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Galicia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
