After having played for 3 minutes, Leonel Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Galicia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hitzeder Toraya hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Fedele Melani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Viñambre having to interfere. Atlético Yare's Sixto Viñambre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Yare from getting a goal against them. Sixto Viñambre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Melani in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Fedele Melani made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Yare's Sixto Viñambre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Galicia's Fedele Melani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sixto Viñambre. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Sixto Viñambre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Melani's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Sixto Viñambre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Melani, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Fedele Melani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Viñambre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Mesquita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Sixto Viñambre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabian Cordearo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sixto Viñambre came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabian Cordearo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 30th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Galicia booed when Atlético Yare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Cabrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Viñambre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Melani in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Sven-Åke Granberg made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Viñambre. Atlético Yare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Atlético Yare's Sixto Viñambre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Yare from getting a goal against them. If Leonel Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Leonel Mesquita made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Yare's Sixto Viñambre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Mesquita to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Atlético Yare defense, Fedele Melani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Viñambre. The Atlético Yare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Viñambre should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético Yare's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Melani came free, but Sixto Viñambre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Sven-Åke Granberg made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Viñambre. Atlético Yare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Mesquita in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Viñambre saved Atlético Yare from getting behind. Fabian Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Galicia made a substitution. Svanbjörn von den Berg replaced Leonel Mesquita. Sixto Viñambre came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Galicia's Svanbjörn von den Berg. But to his dismay, Svanbjörn von den Berg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After a rather tough play, Atlético Yare's Erdiano Gamboa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Sixto Viñambre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Melani in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Svanbjörn von den Berg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Galicia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 79 minutes into the match, Atlético Yare's goal looked a bit too open when Svanbjörn von den Berg came free, but Sixto Viñambre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svanbjörn von den Berg in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Viñambre saved Atlético Yare from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Miro Tubia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Viñambre was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. With a little luck, Deportivo Galicia's Dong got control of the ball when Benicio Cabrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Ondino Migolla threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Galicia's Bruno Romo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 96 minutes of play, Deportivo Galicia's Svanbjörn von den Berg made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Viñambre was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Deportivo Galicia were the better team. Deportivo Galicia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
