After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Basilio Zubiaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo´s FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Zubiaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaio Silio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Tabliega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Gonzo´s FC's Uğurcan Kornes got control of the ball when Salvador Tabliega tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Tachira's Nardo Giraldez got a free kick in the 29th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Gonzo´s FC's Epifanio Reymondo tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo Tachira booed when Gonzo´s FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Maya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Juan Robledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaio Silio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Isaio Silio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Robledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Tabliega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gombal Moñiz made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Tachira's Cerilo Marquez. The Deportivo Tachira fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Deportivo Tachira's Salvador Tabliega looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isaio Silio came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzo´s FC's Hanot Irizar. But to his dismay, Hanot Irizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 60 played minutes Deportivo Tachira got a freekick which was hit by Nardo Giraldez. Oihan Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oihan Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oihan Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes Deportivo Tachira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Epifanio Reymondo who took care of the corner kick. After 67 played minutes Deportivo Tachira got a freekick which was hit by Cerilo Marquez. Uğurcan Kornes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Tabliega in the 74th minute of the match. 1-5 became the score in the 75th minute when Basilio Zubiaga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hanot Irizar took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaio Silio. Isaio Silio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Gonzo´s FC's John Maya pulled a muscle in his back after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Nardo Giraldez charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nardo Giraldez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Deportivo Tachira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nardo Giraldez to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gonzo´s FC booed when Deportivo Tachira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nardo Giraldez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Hanot Irizar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaio Silio. Hanot Irizar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. A hard shot 90 in the game by Gonzo Sedillo from a close distance when the talented Isaio Silio managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Tachira's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Tachira's zone, Gonzo Sedillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaio Silio came out of the goal and Gonzo Sedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Deportivo Tachira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gonzo´s FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
