An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Chandeiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Linterna verde's goalkeeper Siro Jolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tirso Durango made a kick off. Jimeno Piquero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Beat Vid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Cisneros hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Cezary Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Bento Chandeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Jolis. Linterna verde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bento Chandeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Siro Jolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Chandeiro in the 70th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Linterna verde's Jimeno Piquero made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beat Vid was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernest Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Jolis having to make a save. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Piquero in the 86th minute of the match. When Domingo Perón came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Aioros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Perón couldn't finish the play. Ernest Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Jolis having to make a save. 94 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Haaland came free, but Siro Jolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aioros FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
