The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Hoisington:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Shenandoah FC:s goal. Philip Metz went to the wrong direction when Randolph Foley was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Shenandoah FC's Lyle Albright got a free kick in the 6th minute. Hoisington's Philip Metz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Dodd in the 8th minute of play. Philip Metz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Schulz in the 10th minute of play. Shelton Bright kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Randolph Foley shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip Metz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rupert Dodd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Philip Metz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Schulz in the 25th minute of play forced Hoisington's goalkeeper Philip Metz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Metz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Schulz in the 29th minute of the match. Randolph Foley made a great header on Shenandoah FC's corner, it was just that Hoisington's Philip Metz managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Marshall Schulz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shenandoah FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Schulz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Metz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rupert Dodd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glenn Shapiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Hoisington got a corner. Shenandoah FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lanny Hatcher ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Hoisington's corner Lanny Hatcher fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Philip Alley quite easily take care of the ball. Glenn Shapiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Alley having to interfere. Philip Alley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Shapiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenn Shapiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Alley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glenn Shapiro's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Hoisington's Glenn Shapiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Alley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Randolph Foley sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Philip Metz threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Randolph Foley this time. 77 minutes into the game, Glenn Shapiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Philip Alley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marshall Schulz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Metz having to interfere. Philip Metz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marshall Schulz in the 83rd minute. Philip Metz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marshall Schulz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 83 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Shenandoah FC's Rupert Dodd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Philip Metz. Philip Metz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Shenandoah FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
