Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Stanton Buckley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Gregorio Begay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamel Carroll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derek Ryder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Stanton Buckley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George West FC's Derek Ryder got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cyrus Davenport's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teddy Kirkpatrick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Slinger FC booed when George West FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Hollingsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Ronald Pack sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teddy Kirkpatrick skillfully saved the ball. When Max McGraw fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slinger FC's protests and gave Max McGraw a yellow card for diving instead. Max McGraw hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Ryan Duncan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jamel Carroll showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cyrus Davenport recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyrus Davenport in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teddy Kirkpatrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Begay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamel Carroll was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Gregorio Begay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gregorio Begay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After 59 minutes, Ryan Duncan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the George West FC and the Slinger FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ryan Duncan kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Cyrus Davenport who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but George West FC's Teddy Kirkpatrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes, Flint Swan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slinger FC and the George West FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Slinger FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flint Swan to maneuver through the defense. George West FC's Ernest Chadwick shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jamel Carroll but with some difficulty. After 80 minutes of play, George West FC's Derek Ryder made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jamel Carroll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giovanni Alden hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Stanton Buckley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The George West FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
