Ethan Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Jason Burnham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brett Winslow was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Murilo Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Highlands Strikers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bliss Corner FC the free kick. Ethan Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Brett Winslow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Boudreaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Winslow having to interfere. Mohammad Douibi was a little too slow when Bradley Parham got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. When Lonnie Springer fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Highlands Strikers FC's protests and gave Lonnie Springer a yellow card for diving instead. Lonnie Springer kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Highlands Strikers FC's Emilio Darnell got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Bliss Corner FC's Walton Padgett couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Highlands Strikers FC. Patrick Boudreaux hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Bradley Parham made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Highlands Strikers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Britton to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Walton Padgett sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohammad Douibi skillfully saved the ball. Mohammad Douibi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roscoe Payton in the 54th minute of play. Brett Winslow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Faria's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Murilo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Winslow having to interfere. Brett Winslow made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Murilo Faria sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ethan Gregory got free with Brett Winslow in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Bliss Corner FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Raymond Sadler hit a great ball. A collision led to Highlands Strikers FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Murilo Faria hit a great ball. Murilo Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Boudreaux charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Boudreaux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Highlands Strikers FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Patrick Boudreaux hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Faria in the 79th minute of play forced Bliss Corner FC's goalkeeper Brett Winslow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William McKinney in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohammad Douibi saved Highlands Strikers FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Murilo Faria sped through Bliss Corner FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brett Winslow. When Ethan Gregory came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Highlands Strikers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ethan Gregory couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Highlands Strikers FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
