After 61 minutes, Alex Jarrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Michigan City and the Highlands Strikers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michigan City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergio Britton ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sergio Britton made a great header on Highlands Strikers FC's corner, it was just that Michigan City's Nicky McCullough managed to reach the ball for a save. When Bennett Mohr came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Michigan City fans jumped to their feet.
