One of Mattydale AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Feather Sound AFC:s goal. Edmundo Lowry placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Alexander Hirsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Lyles got free with Steven Sims in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phil Carmona hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
