But to his dismay, Federico Hargrove quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Jamar Brannon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdul Geiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Brannon, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Atlético Tucumán booed when Athletic Club Hermosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerald Hunt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Jamar Brannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Geiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Athletic Club Hermosa had won after a very even match.
