Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Peterson started the match with the kick off. Marcos Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rodolfo McKinnon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luke Parr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Gillis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Roberto Wooten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Oakes made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 12thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Luke Parr would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Luke Parr was a little too slow when Homer Gillis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rodolfo McKinnon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Peterson's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Roberto Wooten might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo McKinnon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Wooten ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Arkansas City getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Denny Wolff hit a great ball. Homer Gillis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Luke Parr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Wooten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Childersburg AFC's zone, Marcos Peterson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo McKinnon came out of the goal and Marcos Peterson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Childersburg AFC's Wilfred Dorsey got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Wooten in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo McKinnon saved Childersburg AFC from getting behind. When Laurence Burrows fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Childersburg AFC's protests and gave Laurence Burrows a yellow card for diving instead. Laurence Burrows kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Denny Wolff in the 48th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Rodolfo McKinnon's left hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Homer Gillis to make the kick off. When Childersburg AFC's Ruben Oakes in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arkansas City's goalie prevented a goal. Rodolfo McKinnon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, Childersburg AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo McKinnon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Wooten. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Childersburg AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo McKinnon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute Marcos Peterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo McKinnon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfred Dorsey's late challenge caught a Arkansas City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfred Dorsey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arkansas City booed when Childersburg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Dorsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Scot Wilkins in the 75th minute of play was well struck, but Rodolfo McKinnon made a really good save at the right post. With an all-out effort, Arkansas City's Rodolfo McKinnon threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Peterson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the match, Childersburg AFC's goalkeeper Rodolfo McKinnon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Wooten. Arkansas City's Luke Parr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Gillis in the 82nd minute of play. Homer Gillis might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luke Parr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Homer Gillis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute Ruben Oakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Parr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arkansas City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Childersburg AFC.
